H.E. Ali Al-Ayed

Mr. Ali Bin Abdullah Al-Ayed was appointed Director General of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) on 16 AUG 2011. He holds a bachelor’s  degree in Industrial Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, as well as a certificate awarded by Chase Manhattan Bank for attendance on their Credit Program in New York.

In addition, he has participated in a number of training programs and courses conducted by international institutions specializing in the financial and administrative sector.

Upon graduation from King Fahd University, Mr. Ali Al-Ayed commenced his career at SIDF. He assumed the responsibilities of various professional, supervisory, senior and leadership positions at the Fund. Additionally, he participated as a member of the boards of directors of various industrial and investment firms in the Kingdom. Besides, he is Head of the Consultative Council of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Financing Guarantee Program (KAFALA). And Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Egyptian Industrial Investment Company.

Mr. Ali Al-Ayed is also a board member of the Boards of Directors of the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank; Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yunbu (MARAFIQ); the Economic Offset Program; the Higher Preparatory Committee for the military Local Industrialization; the National Industrial Clusters Development Program, and the Arabian Company for Industrial Fibers.
