The Gateway to the Kingdom’s Industries

The 2nd Saudi Downstream Forum and Exhibition 2012 brought over 950 stakeholders and decision makers to Jubail Industrial City to participate in Saudi Arabia’s leading Downstream event covering the latest developments across Jubail, Yanbu and Ras Alkhair Industrial Cities and how the Kingdom can continue on its path to achieving the Downstream Masterplan.

Opened by HH Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu and SABIC and H.E. Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi, Minister, Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources, Saudi Downstream provided the platform for addressing the most important challenges and opportunities in the Downstream sector.

The diverse range of solution providers that participated in the exhibition was a great example of how support services are being brought in to Saudi Arabia and how the topics of job creation and diversifying businesses are being addressed.

Saudi Downstream 2012 proved the importance of such a high level event to the Downstream Sector in Kingdom and the outcomes of the event will dictate downstream development into the future with the industry again coming together for the 3rd Saudi Downstream Forum and Exhibition 2013 which will return to Yanbu Industrial City.
